Artifact Search
The artifact search feature provides a powerful way to find files across all accessible artifact repositories without needing to browse individual repository trees.
Accessing Artifact Search¶
Navigate to Explore > Artifacts and select the Search tab in the artifact browser panel.
Search Capabilities¶
The search bar accepts free-text queries that scan the artifact catalog across all repositories the current user has access to. Results are matched against the filename and artifact metadata.
Filtering by Tags¶
A dedicated tag filter panel is available alongside the search bar. Tags appear as checkboxes in a scrollable list, allowing you to narrow results to artifacts that have been tagged with specific labels.
Filtering by Date¶
The search supports partial date filtering in YYYY/MM/DD format. Enter a date or partial date
to find artifacts modified on or after that date.
Search Results Layout¶
Results are displayed in a stacked column layout that shows three lines per artifact:
- Filename at the top in normal weight.
- Relative path below in lighter text, showing the folder location within the repository.
- Tags displayed as colored badges in a third row.
Clicking on the relative path navigates directly to that folder in the repository tree.
Global Search¶
The search operates globally across all artifact repositories the user has access to. There is no need to select a specific repository first. Results from different repositories are shown together in the results list.
