Effort Report
The Effort Report is an internal report that shows effort entries filtered by date range, user, category, and effort type.
Access¶
The report is available to all users under Reports > Internal Reports > Effort Report. No special permission is required.
Filters¶
The report form provides the following filters:
- Date range: Filter efforts between a start and end date
- Users: Filter by specific users (visible to all users, but only effective for root users)
- Categories: Filter efforts by topic category
- Effort Type: Filter by effort type class
Data Visibility¶
- Root users: Can see all effort entries from all users. The user filter allows narrowing results to specific users.
- Non-root users: Can only see their own effort entries. The user filter is ignored for non-root users.
Report Columns¶

| User | The user who created the effort |
| Topic | The topic identifier and title |
| Category | The topic's category name |
| Effort Type | The type of effort logged |
| Hours | Number of hours logged |

Sorting and Pagination¶
The report supports column sorting and pagination. By default, results are sorted by date in descending order (most recent first).
